CNC Setup Machinist- 1st Shift

Now hiring a CNC Set-Up Machinist in York, PA

The CNC Set-Up Machinist will be responsible for setting up CNC Lathes and some Mills in the Machine Shop. The role requires a highly experienced individual in setting up CNC Machines of various axis and styles. Key responsibilities include taking a blueprint and program, and documenting the process to align with ISO standards.

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $25-$35/hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Take initial blueprint and program to begin the setup process.
• Select proper tooling and perform initial setup and first particle inspection.
• Document the setup process, tooling needed, etc., to generate an Operation Print for each step in the machining process.
• Collaborate with Engineering to generate a full set of Operation Prints and setup documentation for each new job.
• Work within MasterCAM for programming and edits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
