Cnc Mill Machinist - 1st Shift - Direct Hire

Join a dynamic team as a CNC Mill Machinist, where you will be responsible for reading blueprints, selecting tooling, setting up CNC mill machining centers, and programming at the machine if capable. You will also perform your own quality inspections. This is a short to medium run job shop with about 20 employees, specializing in swiss, milling, and lathe work.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a CNC Haas Mill.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Select appropriate tooling for machining tasks.
• Set up CNC mill machining centers.
• Program CNC machines at the machine, if capable.
• Conduct quality inspections of machined parts.
• Work with both plastics and metals.

Essential Skills:

• Experience working on CNC Mills or related schooling.
• Proficiency in using Solidworks, vertical milling, g&m codes, and Haas machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Programming capabilities (both on & offline) are a plus.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $ - $ /yr.

Health Insurance (BCB; Shield Aware Gold)- pays 75% of employees and 50% of spouse and children:

• 35yrs old= $543mo before the company pays
• 40= $568
• 45=642
• 50=794

Dental Insurance (Delta Dental)- Medfab pays 75% of employees and 50% spouse and children

Holiday pay includes: New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas

2 weeks per year 1-5 years; 3 weeks up to 5-10 years; 4 weeks 10+ years
