CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate Zund digital die-cutting equipment. The successful candidate will review job tickets to ensure printed products meet specifications, perform quality checks throughout production runs, and adjust image positions, resolutions, perforations, and folds as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Zund digital die-cutting equipment.
• Review job tickets and ensure printed products meet specifications.
• Perform quality checks throughout production runs.
• Adjust image position, resolution, perforations, and folds as needed.
• Cut various materials including vinyl, boards, liners, and fabric.
• Maintain accurate production records and enter job specs into software systems.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet production schedules.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of CNC Operating experience.
• General CNC operational experience.
• Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to undergo on-site training for Zund machine.
• Capability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a Monday to Friday schedule with a second shift from 4pm to 12am. Employees are eligible for overtime. The first week of employment involves training during the first shift from 8am to 4pm before transitioning to the full-time second shift role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westhampton Beach, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
