CNC Lathe Machinist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality machining processes, maintaining safety practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Notify supervisor of abnormal situations for corrective action.
• Make recommendations for improvements in methods of performance of work.
• Maintain good housekeeping conditions and enforce safety practices.
• Complete and maintain any required documentation.

Essential Skills

• Strong Geometric Dimensional & Tolerances, and math skills.
• Ability to read machining CNC programs and understand common 'G' and 'M' codes.
• Experience with Siemens controls for lathe machine tools.
• Understanding of basic tabletop gauges Micrometers, Calipers, bore micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization and time management skills.
• Problem-solving and analysis capabilities.
• Experience in manual machining, including manual mill/lathe.
• Preferably from a trade school or AJAC with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
