nThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.
nMinimum Requirements:

Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistantwithin the last three years

Graduate from certified nursing assistant program withsubsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per staterequirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and ingood-standing

Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
n n - n
Current CPR if applicable
n n - n
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n n - n
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n n - n
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
n n - n
Must be at least 18 years of age
