Personal Genome Diagnostics by Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Data Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, MD. The Clinical Data Specialist is involved in performing and reporting genetic analyses using next generation sequencing approaches in a CAP/CLIA laboratory.

Job Duties:

• Perform and report genetic analysis results in research and clinical use settings
• Support process improvement efforts
• Support focused analyses to evaluate the analytical and clinical performance of new testing modalities
• Support test performance and output monitoring efforts
• Maintain details, accurate, and accessible records per procedural protocols
• Monitor sample and project status, and address potential issues and failures in a timely and effective manner
• Deliver a high-quality product and high level of service to customers
• Work collaboratively to identify and fix issues
• Act as a second line of quality control on results before send-out

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Genomics or related Biology concentration, required
• Two+ years experience in relevant work area (NGS, cancer genomics, clinical reporting), preferred

Pay Range: $75-85K

All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
