Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a part-time Clerical Assistant for The Financial Aid Office within University Enrollment Services.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Provide administrative support to the Financial Aid office.
- Greet students upon arrival.
- Assist staff with time-sensitive projects.
- Disseminate financial aid information to students via email and telephone.
- Assist counselors with follow-up requests and correspondences.
- Teach and provide guidance on technical information (e.g., website, student portal) to students, co-workers, and work-study staff.
- Collaborate effectively with other offices and departments as a team player.
- Serve as the main point of contact for student communication, both in-person and by phone.
- Answer financial aid questions when possible and refer complex inquiries to the appropriate counselors.
$20/hourly
