Class A/B CDL Driver

Join Redwood Waste Solutions, Inc., a Waste Connections company! We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a CDL Driver to support our local routes.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, starting at 4 AM with workdays lasting between 8 to 10 hours. Occasionally, you may be required to work on Saturdays as needed.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour , with a competitive pay range of $25-$27 per hour based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an ASL and Front Load truck on designated routes.
• Read route sheets effectively to service each customer as directed by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Engage in physical tasks, including loading and unloading, often without assistance.
• Provide excellent customer service through courteous interactions.
• Complete any additional job-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• This role involves extensive physical activity, requiring heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds.
• Expect exposure to physical risks from moving mechanical parts; following safety precautions is essential.
• Work in varied weather conditions, often outdoors, with exposure to humidity, fumes, and vibration.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience related to the duties of this role.
