Civil Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager to lead our construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering and project management, with a proven track record in estimating and overseeing large-scale civil construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate cost estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and requirements.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, assessing potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline constraints.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during construction and adjust plans as necessary.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress reports.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in earthwork and civil construction estimating and project management.
• Strong understanding of excavation, grading, site utilities, and road construction.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Professional engineer certification is a plus.

Work Environment:

This is an in-office position with occasional travel to project sites. The role requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00/yr. Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401k with company match. PTO. Opportunity for development and career growth.

This is a fully onsite position in Janesville, MN.
