Civil Site Development Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Team within a full-service A/E Firm, specializing in Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Civil Engineering. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to transform basic concepts into completed projects with minimal supervision, while efficiently collaborating within a team-based environment. Responsibilities will include site observation duties, field documentation, and analysis of existing sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site feasibility studies and environmental analysis.
• Develop schematic designs and coordinate engineering systems.
• Perform site cost analysis and design development.
• Prepare site construction documents and research specifications and materials.
• Check and coordinate documents for accuracy.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in site/civil design, including authoritative codes and regulations.
• Experience with subsurface utilities design (sanitary and water), site grading, storm sewer systems and facilities, and land disturbance permitting.
• Possession of EIT certification or actively pursuing EIT.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater management, drainage, grading, and project management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Desire to obtain PE certification in career.
• Experience with industrial and commercial site/land development projects.

The work will primarily be performed at the office in Ft. Wayne, IN. The team is known for its close-knit and supportive environment, providing excellent opportunities for growth as both an engineer and project manager. The role offers the chance to work on diverse projects, including educational institutions, higher education, commercial projects, and industrial site development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
