Civil Design Engineer (Stormwater!)

Join a dynamic team of engineers and technicians to perform designs, evaluations, and preparation of calculations and drawings. Your role will involve conducting site inspections and investigations, preparing standard documents such as technical specifications, and researching design options for technical and financial impacts. You will also prepare engineering reports and other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a team of engineers and technicians.
• Perform designs, evaluations, and prepare calculations and drawings.
• Conduct site inspections and investigations as required.
• Prepare standard documents, such as technical specifications, following applicable design codes.
• Research and review design options for both technical and financial impacts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and technical documents.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0 to 4 years of related experience in Civil Design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Stormwater Management, Site Layouts, Grading, Drainage, Utility Design, Sediment and Erosion Control.
• Experience with engineering calculations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EIT certification.
• Experience with hydrocad and stormwater management.
• Knowledge of design codes and technical specifications.

Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
