Title: Civil and Structural Engineer
Work Location: Initially Houston, TX (5599) for 2-3 months, then Sugar Land, TX
Duration: 12+ months Contract
Pay Rate: $40-$60/hr on W2 (based on experience)
Work Type: Onsite | Office Environment
Shift: Monday - Friday, 40hours/week | Normal office hours

Location: Initially based in Houston, TX for approximately 2-3 months. The position will transition to Sugar Land, TX thereafter.
Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced Civil and Structural Engineers with strong AutoCAD and AVEVA E3D skills to support engineering projects from design through construction. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in structural design, preferably in industrial or energy-related sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create structural design packages using AutoCAD and AVEVA (E3D)
• Coordinate with the lead structural engineer and other disciplines
• Set up and manage AutoCAD drawings and models
• Develop plans and details based on redlines and sketches
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and procedures
• Maintain and improve CAD and AVEVA design standards
• Work with Navisworks and MS Office tools for coordination models
• Support quality control and project management procedures
• Maintain a positive and productive team environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities
