The company is searching for an exceptional, FAA-certified leader to serve as the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations (DO) for its dynamic corporate flight department, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This pivotal role requires a seasoned aviator with proven management expertise, who will serve as the ultimate authority for all flight operations, safety programs, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold FAA Post Holder responsibility as the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
• Develop, implement, and enforce all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the Safety Management System (SMS), and crew training programs.
• Manage and mentor all flight crew personnel, including scheduling, performance reviews, and career development.
• Maintain operational control and regulatory compliance for all Part 91 and Part 135 activities.
• Act as Pilot-in-Command as required, maintaining full flight currency and proficiency.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA, TSA, and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with relevant Type Rating(s).
• Prior experience as a Chief Pilot or Director of Operations required.
• Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time, with 1,000 hours PIC in turbine aircraft.
• Deep knowledge and demonstrable experience with Part 91 and Part 135 regulatory compliance and operations.
• Strong administrative, leadership, and budgetary management skills.
