Furthermore, this position includes the responsibility of serving as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), overseeing the Broward Health Physician Group, the Patient Logistics Center (PLC), and the Corporate Medical Staff Departments.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate medical staff activities, oversee case management and credentials, promote quality and patient safety, ensure regulatory compliance, foster effective communication and collaboration across locations, guide strategic planning, support business development, recruit and retain physicians, implement policies, and participate in broader strategic initiatives. Oversee Broward Health Physician Group, the Patient Logistics Center (PLC), and the Corporate Medical Staff Departments as part of the Chief Medical Officer role.
