About the Role:
As a CBRE Chief Building Engineer Supervisor, you will supervise the team responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing ongoing maintenance and repair operations for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings.
This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Track staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
- Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
- Develop and communicate preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
- Ensure technicians have the necessary information and materials to complete work efficiently and with high quality.
- Estimate material and labor costs for work orders, maintenance activities, systems, and projects.
- Maintain and manage budgets for facilities maintenance.
- Respond to emergencies and seek help when needed.
- Apply advanced knowledge to improve methods and achieve departmental objectives.
- Lead by example, embody CBRE RISE values, and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Contribute to product, process, and operational improvements to meet organizational goals.
