Family Nurse Practitioner - Full Time/PRN

Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioners to join our dedicated healthcare team.

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations across Arkansas and is a proud affiliate of Urgent Team, a leading provider of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. We offer accessible healthcare services including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Our centers are open seven days a week, providing quality care in a considerate and friendly environment.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Nurse Practitioner at Baptist Health Urgent Care, you will deliver exceptional medical care to patients of all ages, addressing a variety of acute and chronic conditions. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while upholding the highest standards of care. Full-time providers typically work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts during the weekdays and every other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members will work as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Provide friendly, convenient care to everyone seeking health-related services.
• Lead and respond effectively during emergencies, ensuring patient comfort.
• Perform medical assessments, treatments, management, and follow-up for various clinic patients.
• Conduct medical procedures such as laceration repairs, pap tests, and abscess drainage.
• Establish and maintain appropriate levels of care for clinic patients.
• Supervise on-site laboratory work, x-rays, and other direct access services.
• Maintain clinical competencies and adhere to medical policy standards.
• Participate in developing and revising medical practice policies for improved patient care.
• Contribute to in-service and continuing education programs.
• Suggest opportunities for growth or development of new services.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards.
• Represent the organization at internal and external meetings.
• Provide mentorship to other medical staff to enhance service quality and patient satisfaction.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
Experience as a provider is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply! Requirements include:

• State License as an APRN
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• DEA License, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• DOT Certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• BLS Certification
