Responsibilities

As our Surgical Tech, you'll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can't operate without you.

The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process.

  Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization

  Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting

  n

• n

  Adapt to the needs of emergency situations

• n

  Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

Qualifications

Required Education:

n
• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
n

Required Licensure and Certifications:

n
• n

  NBSTSA or NCCT

  n
n
• n

  Basic Life Support (BLS)

  n
n

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

n
• n

  Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.

  n
n
• n

  Experience with varied high tech surgical equipment.

  n
n

PREFERRED Qualifications:

n
• One year perioperative services experience preferred

$23.69 - $35.24 /hour
