Shifts include 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, every other weekend, and every other holiday.

Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents in long-term care. Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will deliver resident-centered nursing care and assist with daily living activities, ensuring a respectful and dignified experience.

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and safety of each resident.
• Provide necessary support for transferring, repositioning, and ambulating residents using proper techniques.
• Prepare and assist with meals, creating a positive dining experience for residents.
• Document resident care and communicate any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
• Carry out housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
• Encourage resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old. Prior nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.
• CNA certification required; training and certification will be provided if not already obtained.
• Complete yearly competency tests and maintain continuing education credits (12 hours annually).
• For applicable states, must be certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.
