Department Overview

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nephrology team. This role is essential in providing exceptional care to our patients and ensuring a seamless healthcare experience.

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
• Make a significant impact on patients' lives every day.

Job Summary

As a CNA, you will assist nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities, focusing on the personal needs and comfort of our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:

• Assist with taking vital signs and maintain medical supplies.
• Perform clinical duties as delegated, following personalized training and competence.
• Provide support to patients with basic healthcare needs, including daily living activities.
• Record vital statistics and collect non-invasive biological specimens.
• Prepare treatment areas and clean medical equipment, adhering to safety standards.
• Carry out clerical work related to patient scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by licensed nursing staff.
• Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is required.
