Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate care to residents in long-term care, enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities
• Following care plans and addressing the physical and psychological needs of residents
• Executing personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Supporting residents during meals and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Documenting resident care and changes in condition to the nursing team
• Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for residents

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required
• A minimum age of 16 with prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or current enrollment in a training program
• Commitment to continuing education with a minimum of 12 hours annually

The role may require certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry based on the state.
