This role works full-time night shifts, offering additional pay for straight nights along with a signing bonus of $2,500.

Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to residents in our long-term care facility. As a vital member of the nursing team, you will deliver compassionate, resident-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Measuring and recording vital signs.
• Offering psychosocial support and personal care as directed by the care plan.
• Facilitating safe transfers, repositioning, and walking.
• Helping with meal preparation and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assisting with wellness and recreational activities.
• Documenting care provided and communicating changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff.

This position also requires you to maintain cleanliness in living areas and provide housekeeping and laundry services as needed.

Qualifications

Candidates should ideally have:

• A high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
• At least 16 years of age.
• Prior experience in long-term care (preferred).
• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, or be in the process of obtaining it within four months of starting.
• Commitment to ongoing education and training, including 12 hours of continuing education annually.

This role may require driving responsibilities, for which you must meet specific medical and licensing requirements.
