Department Details

• Support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address
• Receive mileage reimbursement
• Enjoy premium pay rates, including:
• $5/hour premium on all hours worked
• $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
• $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Experience Requirements:

• 6 months of Long Term Care Experience preferred, 3 months required

Scheduling Requirements:

• Minimum of 30 hours per month
• One weekend shift per month

Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a vital member of our team, providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and health care needs, under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering age-appropriate care as per care plans
• Assisting residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and vital sign monitoring
• Providing emotional support and promoting well-being
• Facilitating meal preparation and enhancing the dining experience
• Documenting care interactions and communicating changes in resident conditions to nursing staff
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry to maintain residents' living areas
• Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months
• Ongoing training and competency testing required annually
• May require a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle report
