Job Overview:
Join our team as a Nursing Assistant and be a vital part of our healthcare community. We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide exceptional care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, senior care centers, and behavioral health facilities.
- Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 20 per week
- Medical Specialty: Geriatrics
- Physical Setting: Long term care Nursing home
- Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
- License/Certification: Virginia issued CAN License, CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Ability to Commute: Yes
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately to ensure patient well-being.
- Provide empathetic care and emotional support to patients in need.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality following all HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in administering medical procedures and treatments.
- Keep detailed and precise medical records for effective patient care.
- Support patients in senior care, inpatient, behavioral health, and medical-surgical environments.
- Prior experience in medical-surgical, senior care, or behavioral health settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques and vital sign monitoring.
- Exposure to Cerner or other electronic medical records systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) may be beneficial.
