BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs, and three private infusion rooms for families.

Responsibilities

Perform clerical and clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
Clerical duties may include scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, and maintaining medical records.
Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications as directed by a physician.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:

Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA or equivalent); Current or must be attained within three (3) months of hire.
Current BLS certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous similar clinic experience.
Previous experience with EMR systems.
Competent use of personal computers and software programs, including Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
One year of experience in a physician's practice.
