We are actively seeking skilled EMTs, Paramedics, RNs, and LVNs to serve as Center Medical Specialists in our Plasma Donation Center. Your medical background makes you a fantastic fit for this role!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to assess donor suitability
• Establish rapport with donors to ensure a positive experience
• Safeguard donor and staff confidentiality
• Educate donors about health and address any test result concerns
• Manage donor injuries and adverse events effectively
• Evaluate medical history to ensure ongoing donor eligibility
• Assist in training new employees
• Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program

Your Qualifications:

You must possess current certification/licensure as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT as per the state requirements. A current CPR certification is also mandatory.

• Ability to perform both standing and sitting tasks for 2-4 hours daily
• Proficient in physical handling, including hand and foot movements
• Capable of light lifting (up to 50 lbs) with necessary mobility
• Excellent communication skills to convey and understand information clearly
• Ability to work independently while following instructions
• Adaptable to various demands and work situations
• Experience with sensitive information and exposure to biological materials
• Awareness of safety protocols and ability to use protective gear when required
