CDL Truck Driver - Garbage Collection

Starting Pay: $20/hour
Pay Schedule: Every Friday - no waiting around.
Overtime: Anything over 40 hours a week gets you time-and-a-half - that's $30/hour.

Waste Connections is seeking dedicated CDL Drivers to join our team at our Leesville hauling site! In this vital role, you'll operate a garbage truck to ensure safe and efficient service for both commercial and residential routes. Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a garbage truck along designated routes

• Collect waste or recycling from local businesses and residences

• Navigate all weather conditions while performing your duties

• Commit to delivering reliable service with a strong safety-first approach

Schedule & Pay Details:

• Workdays: Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays

• Start time: 4:45 a.m., with shifts lasting 10-11 hours. Expect to work 50-55 hours weekly

• Competitive starting pay at $20/hour, with weekly payments

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid Class A or B CDL

• Minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience

• A clean driving record and commitment to safety

• Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative spirit
