Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Conduct thorough inspections of your tractor-trailer before and after your trips and submit a DOT inspection report detailing the condition.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and manage keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Drive the tractor-trailer to designated locations while adhering to commercial driving regulations and demonstrating strong maneuvering skills.
• Maintain a driver log (manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, including documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload trailers and deliver products directly to customer premises.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

What You'll Need to Thrive as a CDL-A Team Member:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's motor vehicle record (MVR) and risk assessment criteria.
• Capable of reading, writing, and understanding English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks, including following work instructions and safety protocols.
