Job Description:

What you need to succeed:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Proven safe driving record
• Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
• Flexible availability for a schedule up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts

Preferred experience:

• Forklift experience

• Competitive pay range of $32.48 to $40.18 per hour, with annual step progression based on experience and skill set

Daily Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples
• Deliver excellent customer service while generating sales leads
• Load and unload freight as required

Physical Requirements:

• Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs frequently, and occasionally more than 75 lbs
• Move and position a converter dolly weighing approximately 128 lbs
• Perform safe climbing in and out of the tractor cab and trailer
• Sit for extended periods in a truck or on a forklift
• Walk and stand on various surfaces, including uneven or slippery ones
• Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous materials in all weather conditions
