Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with over two years of professional carpentry experience. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings, expertise in various carpentry techniques and tools, and strong problem-solving and math skills. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures/fixtures.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform framing and rough carpentry as well as trim and finish carpentry tasks.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of professional carpentry experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Expertise in various carpentry techniques and tools.
• Valid Driver License.
• Reliable transportation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
