We are seeking a Cardiology Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Dec 1, 2025. This position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing patients in a critical care cardiac ICU setting.

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (includes nights, weekends, and holidays; must be flexible regarding days worked); 13-hour shifts with a 1-hour unpaid lunch; no guaranteed hours

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of the Intensivist
Conduct daily rounding, patient management, and order entry
Admit patients and provide post-operative management
Perform procedures such as arterial line placement, central line placement, swan ganz catheter insertion, and IABP removal
Manage patients with VA and VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant cases

Additional Information

Must have active PA license
Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required board certification: Critical Care Medicine
Experience in a critical care cardiac ICU unit with advanced device management is essential
Flexibility in scheduling is required
