Buyer

Our client, a leading player in the procurement industry, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Parsippany, NJ
Pay Range: $ per hour
What's the Job?

• Utilize procurement skills to work through sourcing management processes and tools.
• Conduct spend analytics and negotiate contracts along with terms and conditions.
• Manage key supplier relationships to ensure continuity of business.
• Identify opportunities related to each category and drive supplier base consolidation.
• Enhance usage of data systems and maintain procurement spend visibility.

What's Needed?

• Strong analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of procurement or category management related experience.
• Experience with Arriba is a plus
• Experience in indirect procurement is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and data cross-referencing (Excel test required).
