Buyer/Inventory Network Planner

Buyer

Client is seeking two experienced Buyer/Inventory Network Planners to join our trauma and extremities purchasing team. This fully remote role supports the procurement of finished goods from overseas suppliers and ensures efficient product flow from manufacturing plants to our centralized distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for finished products from international suppliers
• Monitor and manage backorders while maintaining safety stock levels
• Plan, schedule, and track inbound material movement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and purchasing teams
• Determine material requirements and develop specifications for new contract orders
• Support network planning and inventory optimization across the supply chain

Must-Have Skills

• 2+ years of purchasing and planning experience
• Experience in high-volume environments
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with finished goods, preferably in the medical device industry
• Familiarity with Oracle or SAP ERP systems
• PowerBI experience for data visualization and reporting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
