Business Development Coordinator

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center, a subsidiary of UHS, is a beautiful, conveniently located, private 182-bed hospital that specializes in the treatment of drug addiction, mental health issues and concurrent disorders for adults as well as adolescents. Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • A Bachelors Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum of (2) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Must have valid Drivers License

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic community and business development concepts. Ability to interpret and communicate data from statistical reports.
  • Knowledge of key internal/external health-care environments. Knowledge of programs.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal customers.
  • Knowledge of senior management credentials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet corporate deadlines, and skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task between accounts and/or referral sources.
  • Work territory and accounts as assigned.
  • Knowledge of the terms Account and Call. Account is defined as any referral source. No one Marketing coordinator with be solely responsible for an Account. Call is defined as a meeting or interaction with a potential referral source. More than one Call can be performed in a single place.
  • Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices.
