BOX TRUCK DRIVER - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Warehouse Delivery Specialist

This role involves working in a warehouse environment, providing essential warehouse support and making local deliveries to customers. It offers a balanced mix of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver all materials to customer sites within the West Portland Metro area using a 24-foot box truck.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and organized truck materials.
• Follow all traffic laws and practice safe driving at all times.
• Ensure orders are delivered on time with minimal delays.
• Lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Operate various machines in the warehouse such as die cutters and glue-machines for specialty packaging.
• Work collaboratively with team members, demonstrating flexibility and completing orders efficiently.
• Check shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Operate electric, sit-down forklift; training will be provided.
• Use basic hand tools for crating materials.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in driving, packing, inventory management, and production.
• General labor skills related to box truck driving and material handling.
• Ability to stand, lift, walk, and move for the entire shift.
• Strong reliability and attendance.
• Clean driving record with customer service skills for deliveries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Willingness to work well with others, take directions, and communicate respectfully.
• Experience using a forklift and pallet jack.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
