CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Our ideal drivers are flexible and open to taking on multi-yard stops and various routes throughout the week. With us, you can grow your potential and enjoy the benefits of being part of the US FOODS® family. This role requires commuting and traveling to different assigned yards to start your routes.

SCHEDULE:

• 1st Shift
• Start times may vary between 1 am - 6 am
• Monday - Saturday availability
• Average work week of 4 or 5 days

Routes will involve covering multiple yards in Oregon with assignments that may alternate weekly, including potential weekends.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Deliver orders punctually while maintaining productivity.
• Unload products using a hand truck and place items in the customer's storage area.
• Perform manual handling of items weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Navigate frequent stops during your shifts and deliver products in various weather conditions.
• Confirm delivery of items with customers and collect payment where necessary.

Compensation: Your pay will be based on relevant experience, skills, and geographic location, with a base rate between $30.31 and $33.68 per hour.

This role also includes opportunities for overtime compensation.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by your state of residence with the necessary endorsements.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
• No more than two traffic violations in the past two years; no DUI convictions in the last three years; no license suspensions in the past three years.
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months in the food and beverage delivery industry.
• Able to pass a DOT physical.
