Boiler Operator
We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team at a multi-city university. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boilers, maintaining detailed records, and providing excellent customer service across various campus sites.
Responsibilities
- Log readings accurately in a log book.
- Inspect worksites for potential problems and report findings.
- Provide exceptional customer service while visiting different sites on campus.
- Operate and manage high-pressure boilers effectively.
- Maintain temperature controls and ensure all gauges are functioning properly.
- Write detailed documentation related to boiler operations.
Essential Skills
- Experience in boiler operation and documentation.
- High-pressure black seal boiler license.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in temperature controls and gauge management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Blue Seal boiler license is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills.

This position is based at a multi-city university that operates continuously. Employees in the facility department are essential to the university's operations, ensuring it remains open at all times.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PISCATAWAY, New Jersey.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
