Overview

A prestigious Am Law firm seeks a Litigation Associate to join its Washington, DC office. The role involves handling challenging matters across industries with direct client exposure and substantive responsibilities from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage discovery processes, including large-scale document review and production.
• Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other complex legal documents.
• Assist in litigation strategy, trial preparation, and case management.
• Participate in hearings, motions, and conferences before courts.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-stakes litigation.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on commercial disputes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of interest or eligibility to obtain promptly.
• Commercial litigation experience, including discovery, depositions, and document review.
• Exceptional academic credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-court experience is a plus, though not required.

Pay

Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
