Big Data Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Big Data Engineer to assist with a application modernization and taking reports currently in the mainframe and recreate in a new modernized application. The output of those reports would be in Tableau or Excel and while this role is focused on Big Data Technologies, will primarily focus on the reporting for the initial duration of the contract.

Skills and Requirements

• At least 4+ Years of experience with Big Data, PySpark and MapR

• 4+ Years experience programming in Python

• Experience with GCP (ideally data hosted in GCP) and any integration with BigQuery

• 4+ Years Experience with SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL, Postgres SQL) doing data modeling, Oracle experience is a plus in addition to the SQL experience.

• Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau - Experience with Data proc, data flow, data modeling and ETL Processes null
