BAS Controls Engineer

Control System Engineer

Design and develop control system architecture for HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.

Program and configure BAS software (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.).

Perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation of control systems.

Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and electricians to ensure successful project delivery.

Create and maintain documentation including control drawings, sequences of operation, and system manuals.

Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

Utilize Revit for system modeling and coordination with architectural and engineering teams.

Design and support ICT infrastructure including structured cabling, network topology, and system integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in BAS controls engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with one or more BAS platforms (e.g., Niagara AX/N4, Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.
• Proficient in Revit with experience in BIM coordination.
• Strong background in ICT systems and infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $72.12/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
