Automation Technician - Evening Shift

We are seeking a proactive Automation Technician I - Evening Shift to support our operations in Wilmington, MA. In this role, you will ensure optimal working conditions for our plant equipment while driving continuous improvements that align with our business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the performance of plant machinery through effective maintenance strategies.
• Conduct timely root cause analyses to address equipment failures and improve reliability.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across a variety of manufacturing equipment.
• Support reliability initiatives by identifying failure modes and implementing corrective actions.
• Document maintenance activities accurately to maintain robust maintenance records.
• Conduct risk assessments to prioritize safety and compliance in all maintenance activities.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

What You Will Bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance.
• A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical systems, including PLCs and motors.
• Hands-on experience with preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems.
• Ability to navigate tight spaces and work at heights safely.
• Familiarity with MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
