In this position, you will work hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, applying ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques within a nurturing, center-based environment. With top-notch supervision and ongoing training, you will have the chance to truly change lives!
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans and collecting necessary data.
- Facilitating the development of children through fun and engaging therapeutic activities tailored to their needs.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure safe and effective treatment while creating a joyful atmosphere.
- Engaging children through various interactive play, including reading, dancing, and singing to foster a positive environment.
- Communicating effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to celebrate successes and advocate for the children in your care.
Requirements for the Role:
- Ability to lift and move children up to 30 lbs, engage physically in various activities, and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively while prioritizing safety and coordination in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
You will also complete the RBT certification within the first 20 days of employment, ensuring you're equipped with the skills needed for this rewarding role.
