As an Autism Behavior Specialist, you'll engage directly with children aged 18 months to 8 years in a 1:1 ABA setting. You’ll employ ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center atmosphere. With top-notch supervision and continuous training, you’ll be positioned to make a significant impact every day!
Your Role:
- Implement ABA Therapy: Utilize principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, recording notes, and adapting based on supervision feedback.
- Engage Children: Facilitate the developmental journey of children through enjoyable and therapeutic activities that promote learning.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to enhance treatment effectiveness, safety, and create a positive atmosphere.
- Active Engagement: Connect with children through play and interactive activities, maintaining enthusiasm and a joyful environment.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and positive communication with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities and celebrate successes.
Job Requirements:
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and engage in active play in a dynamic environment.
- Therapeutic Environment Maintenance: Maintain organized and conducive play areas to ensure a stimulating experience.
- Multitasking Skills: Effectively manage multiple priorities and decisions while ensuring safety and engagement.
- Team Support: Collaborate cohesively across center locations if assigned to different locations.
- Transport Requirement: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
You are required to complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment. This includes passing a 40-hour training, hands-on assessment, registration, and exam completion.

Salary Range Based on Experience & Education:
- Masters: $19.00 - $28.00
