Position: Associate Director, Global Supply Planning

Location: Madison, NJ

Type: Full-time

About the Role

The Associate Director, Supply Planning, is responsible for the operations and strategic design of the US Pharma global supply planning organization, supporting significant revenue streams for US Pharma. This role involves translating demand into inventory and replenishment plans, developing supply strategies, scenario planning, risk mitigation, order management, and communicating with affiliates and third-party manufacturers to ensure product availability and manage cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the US Pharma Supply Planning team to maintain product availability aligning with strategic and financial goals.
• Resolve supply disruptions and capacity constraints, communicating effectively with senior leadership.
• Lead initiatives to enhance planning capabilities and drive organizational efficiencies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
• Oversee partnerships between supply planning and manufacturing sites, including external suppliers.
• Achieve financial and customer service performance goals.
• Support global supply strategy development as part of the leadership team.
• Mentor and develop managers and supervisors, fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Management; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in Operations, with strong supply chain and manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/medical device industries required.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.
