Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex healthcare litigation cases with minimal supervision.
• Draft, review, and manage the filing of pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Handle all aspects of the discovery process, ensuring timely and strategic responses.
• Prepare for and contribute to depositions, advocating effectively for our clients.
• Advise healthcare entities on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with a national team to develop and implement litigation strategies that align with clients’ goals.

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputed law school.
• Active bar admission in Tennessee.
• At least 2 years of experience in complex litigation, healthcare litigation preferred.
• Strong legal writing skills with experience drafting various legal documents.
• Proven capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managed care and reimbursement disputes.
• Background in medical malpractice and medical staffing legal issues.
• Experience representing large hospitals or healthcare systems in litigation.
