Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. You will play a crucial role in handling change orders, managing RFIs, and overseeing submittals while working closely with a Senior Project Manager. This position involves both office work and occasional site visits, providing an opportunity to engage directly with clients and contribute to commercial fit-out projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to oversee project progress.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide updates.
• Contribute to commercial fit-out projects, ensuring they meet quality standards.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in commercial construction.
• Familiarity with general contracting processes.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles.
• Experience with handling RFIs and change orders.
• Knowledge of commercial fit-out processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Background in construction management.

Work Environment:

This role is based on-site five days a week, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within a large and growing construction company. You will be part of a team that is expanding in the NJ area, with access to a network of ten offices across the US.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr. 401k benefits covered fully.

Workplace Type:

This is a fully onsite position in Mendham, NJ.
