We're seeking a motivated and detail-driven Assistant Project Administrator to join our construction services team in Orlando to help support our Project Administrator and Inspection staff. If you're passionate about roadway construction and thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment, we want to hear from you.
In The Role Of Assistant Project Administrator We'll Count On You To:
- Administer contract activity with moderate to high risk to the corporation under the direction of a more-senior contracts professional
- Perform non-routine contract activity that may require development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
- Exercise independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution
- Apply knowledge of contracting concepts, and follow and enforce company and client requirements
- Coordinate closely with all parties involved
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous field or Sr Inspector experience is a plus
- FDOT or Florida Turnpike experience highly desired
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
Required Qualifications
- 3 years contract related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
- Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
- Excellent writing and people skills
- Strong math and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
