nABOUT THE ROLE:
nAs a CBRE Assistant Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
nThis job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Must be flexible to work overnight/3rd shift

Schedule/Shift: Tuesday - Saturday (3PM - 12AM)

Shift differential pay will be provided (up to 15%)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
n- n
- n
Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
n n - n
Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
n n - n
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
n n - n
Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
n n - n
Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
nEducation and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
n n - n
Two (2) - Three (3) years of related experience (building/engineering operations)
n n - n
HVAC/R, Chiller & CDA (compressed dry air) system experience
n n - n
EPA Universal and 608 certification required.
n n
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
nCertification in two or more of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair as well as CFC Certification.
nOTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
nMeet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
nUnderstanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
nAbility to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
nStrong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
nIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training and experience. The salary range is $43 - $45 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
