Mechanical Assembly Technician

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in our assembly operations. You will be responsible for performing basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions to complete tasks.
• Perform mechanical assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies, or subassemblies.
• Manually assemble inserted components based on visual aids and verify specifications.
• Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly.
• Utilize scanners and hand tools for assembly processes.
• Accurately report assembly work.
• Work under direct supervision from the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Comply with all company security policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with mechanical assembly and use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and visual aids.
• Proficiency in using scanners and Microsoft applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good with working 12 hour shifts.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
