Assembler - Weekend Shift

Pay: $25.80/hr (weekly pay)

Shift: Fri-Sun 5:30am - 6pm (36 hours)

Job Description

As an Assembler on the weekend shift, you will work under general supervision to assemble components, including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components. You will contribute to the completion of a variety of products by adhering to safety, quality, and quantity standards and following directions and blueprints to meet product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to product specifications.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and quantity standards.
• Follow directions and blueprints for product assembly.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Participate in cross-training and teamwork initiatives.
• Maintain attention to detail and quality of work.
• Report any safety or quality issues promptly.
• Learn new processes, systems, and equipment as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly, production, electronic assembly or medical device assembly.
• Basic computer skills, ERP is ideal.
• Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.
• Capacity to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English.
• Attention to safety and quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Capability to perform prolonged physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and crawling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.80 - $25.80/hr.
