Position Overview

This position is responsible for the daily production of either a batch plant or drum plant to produce quality asphalt for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
2. Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
3. Ensure quality production of asphalt materials
4. Assign and load trucks to various locations
5. Order liquid asphalt as needed
6. Complete daily and weekly production reports
7. Perform general daily maintenance on asphalt plant
8. Mobility to attend various meetings and events at offsite locations

Ensure that all government environmental regulations are followed

Responsible for quality products

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
2. Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.

Education and/or Experience

1. High school Diploma or GED equivalent
2. Previous experience in asphalt plant operation helpful but not required.
